Signet Mesmer
Signet Mesmer
Think this would be any good? All signets recharge in 11.4 seconds except for Sig of dienchant which is 8.55. It has 1 unconditional KD, 1 attacker KD, moderate damage, a disabling interrupt (for spells at 21 seconds of disabling.), 1 anti adrenaline skill and 1 anti elite signet (able to keep 1 elite down the entire time). Not to mention a FC Res sig. Every 74 seconds you switch to a high energy weapon, put on Mantra of inscriptions and switch back. Maybe even Purge sig?
Mesmer/Monk

Doesnt say where you are planning on using this build, PvE? RA? Could work in RA, but anything does really.

I've always been interested in mesmer signet build ideas. Would be nice to have some good use for the Keystone Signet...
I should try out this build first before I could say how well it works in practice. On paper it looks nice especially when we think that it's based on signets. Can't see too many signet builds going around these days

So would [skill]ignorance[/skill] - but who'd bring that to RA? Lol!
Would the Me/A or A/Me signet build work better?

I think this might be useful for GvG. Anti melee with caster support. Then again, I dont know the first thing about GvG.

I recently put together a signet build very similar to yours. I've used it in RA and in PvE and find it pretty effective for damage dealing and support. I developed the build almost entirely around Smiting prayers and Inspiration:
Signet of Judgement
Bane Signet
Signet of Rage
Leech Signet
Signet of Humility
Mantra of Inscriptions
I tend to vary what goes on the remaining spots, but I think there's a lot of room for creativity. Usually with the above build I'll add in Judge's Insight for support in a group, and Balthazar's aura or Holy Wrath. In conjunction with Holy Wrath or Balthazar's you could also put in Signet of Mystic Wrath. Purge signet is also great to throw in there for support, but be weary of keeping any energy costly skills on your bar if you use it. One other is Castigation Signet that you can alternatively swap out.
On another end you could swap out the Smiting Prayer attribute and focus on Domination and Inspiration, and get some pretty interesting results from that as well:
Keystone Signet (elite)
Signet of Disenchantment
Leech Signet
Signet of Humility
Signet of Distraction
Signet of Weariness
Unnatural Signet
If your secondary is Monk, you could add in Purge Signet there or a rez. This build is more supportive vs. the Smiting signet build.
Just some ideas, haven't tested them all, but worth trying. If you decide to test these out at all let me know how it works out.

You had better be running the atifecers insignias(the plus 3 armor for each signet you have)
I used a build very similer to this but it was using holy wrath instead of mantra. It got me 6 glad points yesterday so it works very well.
Also I love the fact that mes can have the highest al in the game.

Signet Question
Hi All,
I was wondering how this would work...
[card]Signet of Illusions[/card] and either [card]Ether Nightmare[/card] or [card]Signet of Corruption[/card]
with say 15 in Illusion Attribute
LMK and THX

SoI + PvE have been "the thing to do" for quite some time for quite some PvE mesmer players.
The thing you need to keep in mind (regarding Signet of Corruption) - is that SoI ONLY buffs SPELLS! So If you cast SoI and after it SoC - SoC will use your Luxon/Kurzick rank and NOT your Illusion one (since it's a signet)!

i have...or at least had a pve signet mesmer that was good at dishing out damage however, it was balanced not relying on all signets in case the enemy did use rust or god-forbid ignorance
there were 2 versions
both had these attributes
Protection Prayers: 2
Smiting Prayers: 12
Inspiration Magic: 11+1+3
Fast Casting: 6+2
Armor:
Full Radiant
Superior Vigor
2 Attunements
should have about 450 HP and 52 Energy
Equipment: i used a Hale Platinum Staff of Smiting Magic, so somewhere along the lines of that should be fine
Before GWEN came out
1) Banish
2) Smite
3) Bane Signet
4) Signet of Judgement
5) Signet of Rage
6) Mantra of Inscriptions
7) Ether Feast
8) Rebirth (PvP Purposes --> Smite Hex)
After GWEN came out
1) Banish
2) Smite
3) Bane Signet
4) Signet of Judgement
5) Castigation Signet
6) Mantra of Inscriptions
7) Ether Feast
8) Rebirth (PvP Purposes --> Smite Hex)
both were highly effective in PvE, as for PvP i wouldn't suggest using it out of Fort Aspenwood or possibly AB

I made a fun build using Signets on my Mesmer, and was surprised at how effective it was. I was able to hero+hench Masters at Nahpui Quarter using this, and I had fun doing it.
[skill]Signet of Judgment[/skill][skill]Bane Signet[/skill][skill]Holy Wrath[/skill][skill]Mantra of Inscriptions[/skill][skill]Ether Signet[/skill][skill]Signet of Humility[/skill][skill]Leech Signet[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
This was something I did before GW:EN was out, so a few skills I would use, that are not listed would be the following - depending on area you are using it at.
[skill]Castigation Signet[/skill][skill]Hex Eater Signet[/skill][skill]Signet of Disenchantment[/skill][skill]Signet of Rage[/skill][skill]Purge Signet[/skill]
The idea was to place Holy Wrath on the 4 team members what would take the most hits (warriors, monks, etc.). Use Ether Signet to have enough energy to recast Mantra, otherwise ignore the fact you have no energy. Unless you run into Enchant removers, Holy Wrath will help do some nice damage, and with all Signets, you won't need to worry about the energy loss from it. Leech Signet will boost your energy, but it isn't there to GAIN energy, its there to interrupt. I ran 12 Smiting and 10+1+3 Inspiration and 8+2 Fast Casting (yep, used a Superior and Major rune both).

Never tried this but .. wouldn't it be possible to just use a -2 e-regen set to activate the mantra? That way you don't need Ether.
You switch from your normal set to a high energy set - activate the mantra and switch back to the normal set. I imagine that the energy would fill itself up back to 0?
